We will view the short (14 minute) film Upwelling by KSS member and OSU professor of dance Norah Zuniga Shaw, and then discuss it with her. The film is appropriate for teens and adults.  Norah describes the film as “very Jewishly informed, particularly my approach to memory work and loss around the pandemic.”  At the beginning of the pandemic, Norah contacted friends and fellow artists all over the world and asked them to share messages about living through the lockdowns and protests of 2020. The work “chronicles a series of widely varying experiences,” collected from WhatsApp video and cellphone audio. The film is showing in a video space called The Box.

There is no admission charged at the museum on Thursdays after 4 p.m. For parking information, see the Wexner Center website: https://wexarts.org/plan-your-visit
