Join us to hear from Maha El-Taji is a Palestinian who grew up in Libya to a Palestinian father who was expelled from Ramleh in 1948 and a Jerusalemite mother who could not return after the 1967 war. Maha has a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Washington and is an adjunct lecturer at the International School at the University of Haifa. She is certified as a Compassionate Listening facilitator through the Compassionate Listening Project and leads empowerment programs for grassroots leaders through the Mastery Foundation.
