Jews have accumulated much wisdom over the past three thousand years, as well as many wounds during centuries of adversity. Recent studies in the fields of neuroscience and epigenetics demonstrate that traumas don’t simply disappear over time and are often passed on to future generations. As we enter the month of Passover, the season for liberation, join Rabbi Tirzah and Sukkat Shalom on a journey into our family and tribal legacies in search of positive, life-affirming gifts along with the inherited pain that must be healed.

Rabbi Tirzah is a renowned leader in Jewish Renewal, ordained by Rabbi Zalman Schachter Shalomi. Please don’t miss this momentous opportunity to explore how our past, present, and future speak to one another as we prepare for the holiday of Passover – a time of remembering oppression and striving for liberation. Please visit her website to learn more.

SATURDAY, March 13 (6-8pm ET)
Rabbi Tirzah will offer an experiential lecture about her research on the legacies of Jewish trauma and wisdom as they relate to Passover. She will discuss how these legacies are an integral part of the traditions surrounding the Seder.

SUNDAY, March 14 (5-7pm ET)
Rabbi Tirzah will continue with her lecture and lead experiential guided meditations demonstrating how family patterns influence our health and resilience.

NOTE: These are not standalone events. Please plan to attend both sessions in order to get the most out of this experience.
